Jana Shearer has been vacationing in Lake Havasu since 1970 and really enjoys getting out into the desert to take photos—especially in the winter and spring months. While not officially a resident of Havasu, Jana is excited to have recently purchased her retirement home here. Along with her husband, she hope to be living here permanently by 2017.
“I have been interested in photography for many years, taking many photos of my children as they were growing up. Over the past couple years, my hobby has grown. I like being able to capture the moment and seeing life thru a lens, one picture at a time.”
While Jana enjoys many types of photography, she is enjoying landscape photography the most. The picture above was taken on January 16th 2016 at the Havasu Balloon Fest. The shot was captured with a Nikon D750, her camera of choice!
