The 2012 Channel Swim Race and annual lighting for the Festival of Lights drew a huge crowd this year and participants from all ages and from all over the country. The event is sponsored and held by the dedicated folks at the London Bridge Resort.
68 total swimmers entered the chilly waters of the London Bridge Channel and raced from the island side to the English Village side. With one lucky winner claiming $100 in prize money and the honor of flipping the switch turning on the Lights covering the old EnglishVillage under the London Bridge.
