Even Fido Deserves a Vacation!

Take a walk through any of our parks, visit any of the dog parks, or just head down to the lake, and you’ll see just as many pets in the water and on boats as there are on dry land. And there’s a good reason for that—Lake Havasu is a haven for families that vacation with their pets. And let’s admit it—what is a family trip if you can’t include your entire family—and that includes Fido.
Dogs love road trips. They hang their heads out of car and RV windows, soaking in the sun and the rushing air flowing past their faces. They also add joy and pleasure to our travels. If you’re planning a trip to Havasu and it involves your favorite canine, welcome, you’ve come to the right place.
If you’re staying in your RV, you’ve already brought your accommodations—and most RV parks welcome pets. If you’re staying in one of our local hotels and motels, you’ll be happy to know that many welcome your business—and your pets. Most of our local campgrounds also have provisions that include your pets. We’ve put together a quick list of locations that accept pets. As you can see, there are plenty of choices. So remember the next time you visit Havasu, pets aren’t optional—they’re recommended!
