If you’re visiting Havasu and are looking for something a little bit different to make your stay a memorable one, you might want to rent a camping cabin at Lake Havasu State Park. Imagine pending time with your family in one of the cabins on the white sand beach with the lake just steps away. The views are amazing and the proximity to town puts you close to everything you might need while enjoying that camping feeling. Even if you’ve been visiting Havasu for many years you will appreciate the unique experience of cabin-style living right on the beach!
The Camping Cabin Area consist of 13 two-three room cabins, all available with beautiful views of the river. The cabins are furnished with a queen-sized bed, two sets of bunk beds, table and chairs, ceiling fan with overhead light, and electricity. Campers must supply their own linens. Every cabin has a barbecue and picnic table outside, plus an individual fire pit. Family-style shower facilities are located nearby. If you’re in town for a few days or a weekend, or are a local wanting a staycation, these are the perfect accommodations. Good news–a special introductory rate of $89 per night will be in place for cabin stays through January 31, 2020. Each cabin also has an adjacent RV site with hookups available for $30 per night. Four of the cabins are ADA-compliant, as are nearby restrooms which also include an adult changing station. Each cabin has space to sleep up to six people and there is a two-night minimum stay for all weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) from May 1 to September 30. A three-night minimum stay is required on holiday weekends (Memorial Day; Independence Day on a weekend; Labor Day).
Cabin reservations at Lake Havasu State Park are available online or by calling 1-877-MY-PARKS. They are available to help 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time. There is a $10 reservation fee per cabin.
