Iconic Landmark
Winner: Steven Paluch
One of the most-photographed man-made landmarks in the state of Arizona is located right here in Lake Havasu City: the original London Bridge. Second only to the Grand Canyon as far as tourism numbers are concerned, the bridge provides an important piece of history to Havasu.
Steven Paluch, a teacher at Lake Havasu High School for the past ten years, currently teaches Design & Development and Yearbook. Steven credits the early morning light and the right conditions in allowing for this perfect shot, “The weather was perfect for the photograph as there was a slight wind, helping blur the water in the exposure and allowing you to see the reflection of the bridge. I captured this photo with my Nikon D610 – 24-70 lens – ND Filter @ 30s.”
A very iconic photo highlighting Lake Havasu City’s greatest landmark.
