How did you get involved in acting?
I was in a Parks and Recreation play. My mom was trying to get my sister to try out for Annie and she wasn’t interested. I thought it would be cool to be on stage.
What part of acting do you most enjoy? Dancing, singing, etc?
I like to sing. I like to be with my theater family.
What is your favorite part you have played so far?
Gavroche in Les Miserables.
Why do you enjoy acting?
I get to hang out with my friends and be on stage.
What part would you like to play next?
I’d like to be in Newsies.
Were you parents involved in acting?
My dad played Bashful in a school play. He got to kiss Snow White twice.

Les Miserables and Titanic

A marine biologist, actor, or a dirt bike rider

Maura Brynn Cunning – Age 12
How long have you been acting?
I have been acting for six years. I have been in 18 productions
How did you get involved in acting?
I became involved in theatre after taking dancing classes at Ms. Grace Ann’s dance studio. My brother and sisters were also active in theatre.
What part of acting do you most enjoy? Dancing, singing, etc?
I honestly couldn’t choose. All these areas have influenced me and helped me grown as an actress.
What is your favorite part you have played so far?
Annie in Annie, Jr.
Why do you enjoy acting?
I enjoy acting because you can be a completely different person on stage. When I am in character, it takes away any fear of being on stage. However, auditions still make me nervous.
What part would you like to play next?
I would LOVE to play Dorothy, Belle, or Ariel as my next role.

Too young to pick a favorite….maybe my sisters, Elise and Emily.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
I hope to be fulfilling my dreams on Broadway!
Have you ever gotten on stage and forgotten your lines? What did you do?
Yes, I have forgotten my lines before. I continued on as if it had never happened. I even had a bloody nose during my performance of “Tomorrow,” but as they say, “The show must go on!”
Tessa Milton – 11yrs
How long have you been acting?
My first play, Oklahoma, was in November of 2008. I was 6 years old, and extremely excited!
How did you get involved in acting?
Miss Grace Ann was my dance teacher, and she asked me to be a “farm child” in Oklahoma. I loved it so much, especially the puffy-sleeved, pink checkered dress I got to wear!
What part of acting do you most enjoy? Dancing, singing, etc?
I most enjoy the play rehearsals, which are always full of excitement. I also enjoy getting “notes” on how to improve my performance. However, my favorite part is dancing!
What is your favorite part you have played so far?
My favorite part was playing Marie, in the Nutcracker, in December 2012.
Why do you enjoy acting?
Acting gives me an opportunity to express my personality in many ways. It also gives me something to look forward to after school.
What part would you like to play next?
I would like to play Wendy, in Peter Pan, and also, Ado Annie, in Oklahoma.
Were you parents involved in acting?
No, but my mom was a dancer.

Yes, my dance teacher, mentor, and play director, Miss Lauren.

My favorite movie is the Parent Trap, with Lindsey Lohan.
What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
My dream is to go to Juilliard, in New York, and study dance! So, hopefully, in ten years, I will be graduating from there!

I have not forgotten my lines, but I have messed up! I just pretended that that was the actual line I was supposed to say.

How did you get involved in acting?
My best friend was doing it.
What part of acting do you enjoy? Dancing, singing, etc?
I enjoy singing and dancing!
What is your favorite part you have played so far?
My favorite part I have played so far is Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka Jr.
Why do you enjoy acting?
I enjoy acting because I think it’s so awesome when you can be someone else and be there, I like the spotlight! He He! J

The part I would like to play next is, Else or Anna from Frozen (if they do a play).
Were your parents involved in acting?
No, but my dad was immensely influenced in music.

I hope to be a famous actress in 10 years.

Once, I think it was in The Little Mermaid (I panicked and used adlib). J

How long have you been acting?
It will be 3 years in June.
How did you get involved in acting?
My mom signed me up for a workshop and since then I still can’t stop.
What part of acting do you enjoy? Dancing, singing, etc?
I enjoy singing the most.
What is your favorite part you have played so far?
In Godspell when I was a disciple because it was a Christian play and I got to sing my own song.
Why do you enjoy acting?
I get to change who I am and I get to be a drama queen.
What part would you like to play next?
If they ever do a Matilda the musical that I’m Matilda.

No they weren’t, but my mom loves singing.
