Every holiday season for the last eighteen years Danny Finch and “His Crew” have put together the Channel Swim Race and annual Festival of Lights. The 2013 event drew participants from all ages and from all over the country and world with a particularly colorful gentleman from Germany! The event is sponsored and held by the dedicated folks at the London Bridge Resort.
A dock-full of swimmers entered the chilly waters of the London Bridge Channel and raced from the island side to the English Village side. With one lucky winner claiming the prize money and the honor of flipping the switch turning on the Lights covering the old English Village under the London Bridge.
