Love by the Lake
It’s not just our imaginations…love is in the air!
This photo, taken by Shila Holmes, a 19-year Havasu resident, beautifully captured this young couple in love. Where else but in Lake Havasu could you find all of the elements to capture this moment—a young couple, walking by the lake, silhouetted by the setting sun with hot air balloons in the background.
The photo was captured by Shila using a Canon Rebel T2i on January 18th, 2015 during the 5th Annual Lake Havasu Balloon Festival. Captured on film are Larry King and Kristi Baldassari, both Havasu natives. The couple plan to be married in Havasu in November of this year.
