Lake Havasu Homes for Sale

No Road – No Problem!

Have you noticed that Hwy 95 is the only main paved thoroughfare in and out of Lake Havasu City? Well, there’s a good reason for that. It’s much more exciting to drive around in an Off Highway Vehicle (OHV), taking in the many sights and sounds that make Mohave County an off-roaders paradise.

Even driving the paved roads of Lake Havasu, you’re bound to see just as many off-road vehicles as you are street-approved vehicles. They come in all shapes and sizes, including two-seaters, four seaters and larger. All are designed to travel the road less travelled in search of that next great adventure. I guess there’s a real reason that the unpaved roads, trails and roads-to-nowhere outnumber the run of the mill, paved highways.

If off-road adventure is your idea is fun, you can always head out to the BLM office for some trail maps. But, if you want to share your adventures with some great, like-minded folks, you might consider getting in touch with one of our local off-road clubs.
