Originally from Mazatlan, Mexico, Karla has a degree in Tourist Administrations which she uses to the maximum when serving clientele. Trained professionally to serve in upscale bars and restaurants at exotic resorts, Karla provides everyone that extra special attention, making them feel like they truly are on a vacation. The authentic Mexican food and exotic setting of Plaza Bonita provides the perfect setting to get away from the outside world–even if for only and hour or two.
Karla’s famous smile and friendly service is backed up by her expertise behind the bar. An expert in tequila, she is a regular at the annual Tequila Fest which is an Arizona-California-Nevada trade show that specializes in all things tequila. It’s there that Karla learns the latest techniques for mixing the perfect margarita or finds the most exotic of brands to bring back to Lake Havasu.
