Ann Golden took photos of these hummingbirds from the very beginning. From the eggs being laid to the mother nesting and the eggs hatching, she knew she was one of the lucky ones who was able to witness such a wonderful and precious gift from nature. Since she was leaving soon, she asked us if we could keep up with these magnificent little birds and share this wonderful experience. We assured her we would document their growth and watched as the two little babies grew from their little jelly bean sized eggs to their first attempt to fly.
