The 5th annual Lake Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention took place February 13th through the 19th. Over the week long event there were numerous races, a parade of sails through the London Bridge Channel and tons going on at the London Bridge Resort’s convention center including a small boat built by hand. The boat was built by volunteers as part of a project for the Lake Havasu Sea Scouts organization. A separate video segment on the construction of this boat will be available soon.
There were 200 trailer-able sailboats present, it was an inspiring sight to see our lake littered with those sails! I was so lucky to have been a part of this event. I was there to take pictures but I did have the chance to get a few video clips. This is a brief recap of my perspective of the event.
