On Monday, March 12th, 2012 a motorcade of Patriot Guard Rider led the way from Sara Park to the Island Fashion Mall here in Lake Havasu City for “Remembering Our Fallen” Arizona, a traveling display created of memories of our state’s fallen soldiers.
This display has been to many cities in 2012 throughout the state on a tour that hopes to last for a couple more years. “Remembering Our Fallen” is a tribute to all of those who have died as a result of wounds suffered in a war zone, while in uniform, since 9-11-2001 and was formed by Bill & Evonne Williams of Omaha, Nebraska.
The Arizona portion of this exhibit was just completed in Jan. and unveiled in Scottsdale. It was brought to Lake Havasu City, and constructed by the hands of Doug Clithero.
There have been “Remembering Our Fallen” displays created for Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa.
The display is open to the public for viewing March 13-22, 2012, in Lake Havasu City’s Island Fashion Mall.
