Winter Workouts in Lake Havasu

The beauty of living in Havasu is that the winter weather doesn’t drive you indoors to get your daily workout you can still wear your favorite workout leggings with maybe an addition of a hoodie some days and be ready for your winter workout. Here are a few ideas for getting your heart pumping while enjoying the great outdoors:

1. Head to the Island and jog or bike around the paved 3-mile loop. This completely flat loop is great for beginners or a light workout. Remember: walkers counterclockwise, bikes clockwise.

2. Another great spot to take a stroll on the pathway at Rotary Park – the scenery of the lake and channel is absolutely stunning!

3. Want to really get your heart pumping? Stop under the London Bridge and hit the stairs!

4. If you’re more hardcore, take a hike at SARA Park up to the picnic table on the Lizard Peek Trail. Once you get up there, stop for a moment and take in the bountiful view. You won’t regret it!
