The 2012 WORCS Racing Pro MotoX series in Lake Havasu was a thrilling spectacle for both race fans and the hoards spring breakers that flock to Lake Havasu’s beaches. The Lake Havasu stop on the WORCS racing circut took place during the peek of Spring Break.
The weather was warm and and windy at times as the dust blew across the fast, rough Havasu course. Monster Energy’s rider Taylor Robert came in first place in the pro class. Robert performance was outstanding from the gate to the checker flag, placing himself in first by the end of lap one. Neither Mike Brown who placed second or Kyle Summers who placed third were able tho challenge Robert.
Mike Brown, although coming in second, is a rider to be respected and it should be noted that he celebrated his 40th birthday the week before this race. A second place finish on a hot and challenging Race course with competitors many years younger is an impressive accomplishment.
